If this replaces an H8, then it should also work in an E70 too.

So in order to install these, you have to cut out a hole in the cap that gives you access to the H8 bulb? Do you have any instructions on how to install these?

Should be no cutting necessary. You take the small cap off, and voila, access to the halogen bulb.
