Panorama sunroof problem in wagon

My Ride: 2006 530xit 1999 323is 1989 325i 1959 Morris Mini

My panorama sunroof is not working in my 2006 530xit. I can tilt it up and back down, but it would not open. The screen is displaying this message, "Sliding/tilt sunroof anti-trap function!" Has anyone had this problem?

If you're sure there's nothing physically blocking the roof from opening, then read through the following thread (and pay particular attention to the link for sunroof initialization in one of my replies.)

Thanks Rudy. My service advisor told me to do the same thing today... I just did it and it worked, then I saw your post. I'm glad I'm able to open/close my sunroof.
