My bodyshop didn't like the gap M5 bumper + normal fenders, so he decided to work further on the fitment.

And this is the result:

I think they worked adjusting headlamps too.

If you look at the car from 2-3 metres you cannot see the gap now.
Now I am completely satisfied

Your experience, your pics?

Although we've spent lots of efforts to close the gap, i still look crap anyway. I'd go for M5 fender for my car someday and do something to fit M5 tires which would give a better ride.

However, your does look best among us anyway, but that little gap will bite your brain everyday you look at it and sleep at night.

It looks good. I think it was the same gap at my old E60 with M5 bumper and stock fenders..

Nice! I agree with my530i, it will bite you in your dreams little by little. LOL!

I'm planning to get an OEM M5 fender without the grills and have the holes patched to make it look like a stock non-M fender. This way i will have peace of mind with perfect fitment.

Better pics I have at the moment are the following (the car wasn't clean - I was coming back from a long trip around France and Germany) :

M5 bumper fitment-1.jpg
M5 bumper fitment-2.jpg
M5 bumper fitment-3.jpg

First time I parked on the grass (and how many ugly cars on mountain in the summer compared to winter!)

After many mods, I definitely like how it looks.

Edit:

Your car is so fantastic, Alex. The M5 bumper and the other M-setup looks really good on your car. Your next mod should be M5 trunk lid finisher..
