After tinting the windows the chromeline got to me and while nicke60gre was still visiting me during the European meet he installed a custom version of sapphire black high gloss shadow line for me. Looks really good - thanks Nick!
The blacking out theme continues with new 167's as the shadow tint conforms nicely with the new appearance my car is taking - from a performance standpoint, this was a long awaited mod as the weight of the 172M's plus the spacers was just not acceptable any more to me. Almost 29kg, the 172's cannot compare to 20kg of the 167's - even lighter for the fronts. There is an immediate noticable difference in all respects (acceleration, steering wheel feel)...the 172's will stay with me as a trusted and wonderful winter setup
Completed the mod with cleaning up the calipers and painting them black along with a small touch of "individuality" in the interior (honoring the custom trims) wholly befitting the mods as to speak...lol.
enjoy
