Nice, sporty and clean look I have a question, "the 172's cannot compare to 20kg of the 167's ". Is the 167 heavier than the 166? Believe the 166 weighs in at 13.266.

I don't know about 172s or 166s but I do know that 167s weigh 9.5 kg. for the front (8.5 J) and 10.5 kg. for rear (9.5 J) wheel ...without tires

11 Kg for the 166, but I don't remember if the front or the rear . I will weigh them within some days .
The 124 was something like 16 Kg or so .

my numbers obviously include the tires !

in short, the 167's are the lightest BMW production wheel (forged)

Numbers quoted by an online parts site is obviously off. Example: 166 with M6 offsets @ 13.266kg, 167 with M6 offsets @ 13.226kg (numbers are without tyres). Didn't know the 167 is forged This also means that it cost more then the cast 166. Do let us know when you get them weighed. Thanks

Well, this is not online, this is mine (front wheel)

1st pic: tire only > 23.6 Pounds
2nd pic: wheel with tire mounted > 44.0 Pounds

167 front weigh: 20.4 Pounds (9.250 Kg.)

No comments about the scale, double checked, it reads correctly

These were the weights of my 172's when i took them off the car (obviously with tires). Fronts and rears were pretty much identical. Keep in mind, this is a US scale.
