Picked my car up today and so far im very pleased. When I got home though I noticed the front headlights have moisture on the inside bottom of the lens(about 1.5" all around the bottom). I'm wondering if it because the car has sat for a month or two and today was really wet when i was driving it. If it hasnt cleared in a few days ill take it back to the dealer.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Mine is much worse then that. Its around the whole bottom of the light unit from one side to the other and about 1.5"deep.

I had that problem with my past Audi S4. Every time it rained, the inside of the headlights would have condensation that would last for several days and sometimes longer than a week. I was always told by Audi that it was "normal", but I rarely saw other cars have this issue. Never saw any other cars have it to the degree that my Audi had it.
I did not notice this with my 535, but I only had it for 6 weeks.

Noticed on mine about a month after delivery (which is how long it took for the rain to come), dealer replaced the light (warranty), everything is fine now.

Mine too are fairly bad. I'm trying to get the local dealer to sort them out under warranty.

Kier,

that's nothing!

It can be worse and is meant to be this way.
It needs more than that to get them changed under warranty.

Mine were really bad, they stayed for almost two days once they were foged up. Plus: on my Xenon lenses there were fingerprints...
It took me three years of fighting to get a new one from BMW. Meanwhilke the other one was allready changed under warranty because the AFL failed.
Those are expensive, so they don't change them for that little.

The housings are open and have to be open, because it gets too hot in there. And because they are open for ventilation, this can't be changed... according to BMW.

That's a great shame, as the adaptive xenons I had on my 330Cd were 100% condensation free all the time (and the light silver interior was much nicer than the black in the E60 lights, incidentally)
