Hello everybody, I read through the thread Monday before I was getting ready to ship out my first batch of AUX cables that I had sold over the weekend and I had got a lot of questions about the pins I was using and people being afraid that it may damage their equipment. Although those pins seemed to be 100% ok I made the final decision to ship out the first batch of cables and every cable from here on out with OEM style pins. The picture below shows you that you are getting the same exact pin that is on the cable you get from BMW and the same exact jack that you would get from BMW. At this point it is a clone. PLEASE PLEASE do not accidently put one of these pins in the wrong slot as they are very hard to get back out and can be broken if pulled out incorrectly. Once you push this style pin in you will here a click once it is in all the way. Once its clicked on to the next one. I will post a DIY for the pin placement and show you how the OEM pins work.

Glad to see that you are using the correct pins. Its extremely easy to get these pins out of a plug too. GLWS.

That's what she said!!

I couldn't resist. I've been on a "The Office" binge lately, watching all of the older episodes when Michael Scott (Steve Carell) was still a part of the show. It's just not the same without him.

Anyway, back on topic.

So here's a question I haven't seen so far. Lets say you have the OEM iPod interface on a 2004. Can you still add the AUX in? I would have really liked that in my old 545 to hook up sat radio instead of Fm transmitter...
