Due to an, uh, altercation with another vehicle, I need to replace my front bumper. I've been urged to upgrade from the stock OEM my 530xi has now.

In researching my options, I'm seeing "MSport", "MTech", "MStyle", and even "M5 Tech" and "M5 Style". My understanding is that the true M5 look doesn't contain the fogs, and that the bumper is wider, so fitment might be an issue unless a body kit is also installed.

It would be extremely helpful to me if someone could post pics of the different styles and set me straight as to what I should get if my objective is to keep my fogs and upgrade with the least amount of fitment issues. As an '07, I believe I also have a pre-LCI vehicle. Will I also lose my headlight washers? Also, what is PDC that I may have to worry about?

The M frontbumper would be the closest to original with a little touch of M5 look without the slightest problem or fitment problems. These also have fogs and washers! Take a look at my pics and judge for yourself.

Pd: the pdc are your parking sensors

I am doing this just for info so you can see what is avalable, if i can get it in the UK you should be able to get it in the US

Its a web site called M Style and they are very good and the bumpers are the same as BMW but with no BMW label on the back and are Plastic and 100% fitment. I do know they ship out to the US but it's lots of doller

Like i said, info

Would really like to know if this link from MStyle UK shows essentially the same bumper what Umnitza and Trinity sell as the M5Tech (like M5 tbut WITH fog lights). If it is then its probably the only place it can be bought from in the UK. IMHO the M5Tech is the best looking front bumper for the E60. Very agressive looking just like OEM M5 but with added benefit of the fogs. Do any UK members have the M5tech bumper installed ? Anyone dealt with mstyle.co.uk ?

We invented the terminology for the M aftermarket bumpers.

We now have M3Tech and F10MTech coming soon.
We do this to help customers identify bumpers - it's flattering that other vendors take our naming as "gold" and use it.

M Style/MSport - refers to all styles of the M package bumpers/trim
M5Tech - Umnitza initiated naming for the M5 E60 bumper with Fog Capability
Mtech - original and aftermarket bumpers that are part of the M Performance Package trim
M5 Style = Original bumper without fogs.

So if I were to go with M5Tech for the front bumper only, can you guarantee that I won't have any fitment problems replacing an E60 stock bumper?

...and what does PDC fog capable mean?
