Finally got the rpi installed this morning. Thanks to joe at trinty for answering a couple quick questions during the install.

First thing I did was order one silencer to kill the 1500-1800 rpm drone. That drone would have made me remove the rpi and go back to oem but the silencer from rpi fixed it. Now it is perfect.

Heck, 99% of all the things we buy is a ripoff (price wise). I still smile when I'm having fun messing around with it though.

It is quite, no more than the original on the freeway. That tiny bit of drone I can deal with, When you stomp on it, that rumble is there. cool

I'm loving my RPI too although I don't have a V8.

Sounds great. It was a hard pill to swallow when I had to let go of my RPI when I moved to quads.
