Wheel Vibration using Hubcentric spacers M5 wheels on E60

HI everyone,
Please help me out with this issue. I just bought M5 wheels 2005 for my 525i 2007 and I had to add hubcentic spacers to have the wheels fit. The tires that came on the wheels are too small at 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 and are champiro tires, some cheap brand someone through on them. I'm getting vibrations after 50mph and it's bugging the hell out of me. Is the problem with the cheap to small tires, or is the hubcentirc spacers I added to have the wheels fit my ride? The guy who put my wheels on and is well respected as he does work for my athletes in the bay area and got me the hubcentirc spacers said the tires are the problem, is this true? He said if I put on Yokahama tires 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 he recommends, it will go away. I need to know, as I won't spend another $1,000 on new tires and get wheels that will fit without spacers, please help!

A few things I don't get. If they are real M5 rims why do u need hubcentric rings? They are a direct fit. You said from a 2005? There are no M5s for 2005, wasn't the first year for the M5 in 2006? The tire size you currently have on the rims sound too narrow for the rim width. 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 would be the correct fit for regular E60s using the #166 rims.
Now whether the vibrations is tire issue or rim issue is hard to say. If you have fake M5 rims... I don't want to point fingers but you know where I'm going to point them at.

As EBMCS03 pointed out, there is no need to add hubcentric rings if those 166 are authentic. Also, spacers are different, they are added to push the wheel out so the rim looks flush with the fender and gives a wider stance. You can check the inside of the rims for the "BBS" logo, replicas don't have that. Tires might be the issue, but I suspect that it is the fitment of the rims. Good luck.

Thank you for the replies, I agree they replica wheels if this is the case. I'm going to sell them on here and craigslist for what I bought them for 2 weeks ago along with the Hub centric spacers which ran me $150 a piece for all four.

I would think that even replicas would have the same offset as the stock M5 wheels. The spacers should only be necessary to change the offset as theXman said to make the stance more aggressive. How thick of a spacer was used? Could be that something is wrong with the wheel (bent?) but also note that the tires definitely could be causing the problem. How many miles on them and what's the wear? I've found that as tires wear out, you'll start getting vibrations at higher speeds (in addition to the fact that the size is wrong). Which shop did you go to?

Decided to sell these tires and get 20 inch deep wheels, as my preference!! The wheel vibration which was very little like I mention, was to to needing a realignment, my wheel person just fixed the problem! Please see add if anyone is interested in purchasing.
