I am 1k above 100k km (62k miles) now...car runs as new....never had any mayor problems, just regular service. Because I have a car with not to many options like memory seats, hud ad so on, I have been trouble free so far...
Still have 18 month of full factory warranty...If I still have the car in 18 months I will trade it in, when the warranty expires...Although I am absolutely in love with BMW, the last couple of years the built quality (mainly electronics) sucks...
So yeah...I will bail before the 100k miles...

Just taken my E61 525d in today for swirl flap removal and a few other bits and pieces. Kilometres to date 173000, heading for 110000 miles. Not exactly trouble free but love it compared to our E46 320d Touring.

I dont have 100k but I got an 07 with 72k miles (which is a lot for 3 years) and I've never had a problem and done all services on time. Treat your baby well and it will treat you well.

My Ride: 545i/6
92k on my 545i, I've put some pretty hard miles on it too. I dont plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. I've mentioned it before on the forums but I do know an owner of an 04 545i 6mt with over 160k on the clock, a lot of hey miles but still drives great.

I've got 96K on mine (I bought it used with 48K on the clock) and aside from a few minor problems (most recently a transmission fluid leak that was fixed under my extended warranty) it's been running great. I plan to keep the car a long time.

Mine has just over 101,000 miles... Major cost items have been a set of tires each year (averaging about 20k per set), batteries (I've replaced it twice, but of course I live in AZ where summer heat kills 'em). A couple of window regulators had to be replaced, and once the front active suspension unit had to be replaced. Oh yeah, had to replace the valve cover gasket once, too.
I'm planning to keep it for another couple of years - I love the way it drives and I don't like the looks of the new F10 as well...
Cheers, Jon.
