Hello - I've found a set of 4 OEM X1 Style 318 wheels, with tires, which I think could make a good set of winter tires for my 535xi Touring. The tires are 225/50 R17 - which is listed in the owner's manual as a valid tire size for the car - and I like the idea that they are a bit narrower than the summer tires - should work a bit better in the snow. The wheels have a 34mm offset, REALOEM gives me a range of 35 to 45mm offset for the E61. So, they'll be inset a bit from the Fender, which shouldn't be a big deal - just wondering if anyone out there has tried this and whether it worked okay....

 

The wheel is 17x7.5 et34, correct? If so, it should fit perfectly fine. Currently I have stock 17x7.5 et43 on all four corners with 10mm and 12mm spacers on front and rear respectively.
With spacers, I am at 33mm and 31mm offset. Hope that helps!
