Will a 255/35R20 & 295/30R20 fit - et20
I am about to purchase a set of wheels for my 07 550i and am looking at a set of Eurotek U06's in a 20x8.5 (front) & 20x10 (rear) with an offset of 20mm.
Tire wise, I am hoping to go with a 255/35R20 (front) and 295/30R20 (rear), most likely the Toyo Proxes 4 Plus. I do not like the stretched look and the girl drives my car so I need as much wheel lip protection as possible. I am aware of the increased overall diameter and speedo difference, but these tires should put me dead on since my speedo is off by 3 mph.
With the above in mind, do you think these wheels/tires will fit with no rubbing issues? I am lowered on coilovers so I can raise the car and/or lower if needed, and the fenders look to be rolled (purchased car used), but am unsure.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

According to the online tire and wheel offset calculators, the above setup should work. Just went out and jacked up the car and took measurements and all looks good. Front going to be a tight squeeze, possibly slight touching on plastic fender liner during tight turns. In rear, just need to roll the fender lips and should easily clear.
If anyone wants to chime in, that would be great. I can't imagine I am the only one wanting to run 20's without going with a rubber band tire???

Ending up going with a 245/35R20 up front and a 285/30R20 in the rear.
In the rear I had the fender well lips cut and now have a 6mm gap, so I am getting a 5mm spacer and it will be flush.

Tire Sizes
I love your set up! I want to do the same thing to my 04 530 Sport. I noticed though that you used 255-35-20 and 285-30-20 size tires. For some reason, the profile looks smaller than that in your pictures. Most guys use 255-30-20 and 285-25-20 for the tire sizes to match the OEM sizes. In the pictures, are those tires actually 255-35-20 and 285-30-20?
Thanks much!

I ended up going with a 245/35R20 up front and a 285/30R20 in the rear. The overall diameter is about 1" larger than the OEM setup, giving me more meat than the recommended and now the speedo is dead on (previously it was 3mph fast).
If you have any other questions, just let me know.

I'd be going with 9.5" wheels in the rear instead of 10. Do you think I would need to roll my fenders since the wheels are narrower? (Still using 285's and an 20mm offset.)
Did you roll your fenders or did you just trim the liner?
