Default Tire Pressure on 20" wheels

Curious what tire pressure you guys are running on your front and rear 20" wheels? I'm running 275/30/20 rear and 245/30/20 front on my miro 111, wondering what pressure works best with this setup. Will higher tire pressure reduce the chance of bending or cracking rims when hitting potholes?

49psi,,,,,,,is that to keep the tyres on the wheel's

I have 20" MK Motorsport wheels, 20x9 and 20x10.5 running 235 at the front and 255 tyres at the rear, I was told to put 36psi all round but the rear tyres were loosing air so put them up to 40psi and every thing is now fine.....

Damn 49psi is pretty high. I'm running 36 psi all around with no issues. Even I were to run a higher pressure I still would pay attention to the road and practice my defensive driving skills of avoiding potholes.

I run 38 in front and 40 in the rear, don't think I'd be crazy enough to try to run them at 49 PSI - that's nuts, the tire itself says "51 PSI MAX" if you're running 49 PSI you can go over 51 PSI just on a hot day. Remember the air inside expands in heat (either by driving or outside ambient temp) and this will increase your PSI as well. Sorry to say Bro, but your tire shop isn't very bright.
