Xi Tire Fitment
I am purchasing some replica wheels for my E60 and have some questiona around what size tires to purchase. For reference I have a 2007 525xi.
Any input would be appreciated.
Specifications:
Size: 19x8.5 Front / 19x9.5 Rear
Bolt Pattern: 5x120
Finish: Matte GunMetal
Offset: 35 Front / 38 Rear
Hubcentric: 72.6

Recommended size are 245/35-19 front & 275/30-19 rear.
If you go with 285 on the rear it'll have the exact rolling diameter with the front (and also give more meat) but will probably cost more.
Some member(s) use higher sidewall to add cushion and use 245/40-19 front & 275/35-19 rear.

PS: w/ ET38 on the rear maybe cuttin' close using 285.

I'm using 19" OEM 166 wheels with 245/35-19 front & 275/30-19 rear.
Now also want to change to 245/40-19 front & 275/35-19 rear
I had read alot of posts, some said it will rub the fender some say not.
I'm running tr BC suspension too. Can I adjust the height and make it won't be rub?
Anyone can give a hand? Thankyou very much

I have an 06' 530i on stock Sport suspension with OEM 19" 166's(M5offset). I have Continental DW's - 245/40 on the front and they do rub, but just occasionally, when you hit a dip while turning. I plan to go with 35 series the next time around though. I'm running 285/35's on the back with no problems whatsoever. I tried some 12mm spacers on the back and that did cause those to rub, so I took them off, but I believe those would work with the recommended 275/30. Hope that's helpful.

As the OP & for us xi/AWD/x-drive model the rolling diameter difference between the front & rear will create problem when they are too far apart.

those wheels will bolt on just fine without spacers on your XI model. Id say put the wheels on first, see how you like how they sit on the car before deciding if you want spacers. for a rough estimate, you can measure from the tire outward to the fender to the nearest millimeter if you want to push them out still with spacers.
