Style 193’s on an E61?
I have a line on a set of these. 18”x 8” and a 34mm offset. The original 17’s are 20mm. I’m thinking it will work out but would love to hear from those who have traveled this path before. Mine is a 2008 535xi
thanks

Style 193's come staggered. Were you aware of that? As long as you have the proper tire sizes, you should be okay. I also don't know how you got away with a ET 20 offset on an xi car.

thanks for the quick reply Jay. I took that ET 20 value from a BMW wheels webpage that I found but this weekend I’ll get the car on the lift and take them off and see how they measure out. The set of 193’s is square - all four are 8 inches wide. I’ll report my findings back later. Thanks again

8” style 193’s are a fit!!
The 34mm offset on the 8” wide all around 193’s fit well. The takeoff 243’s were 7 1/2” and (you are correct Jay) 43mm offset. The wheel wells are slightly more “filled up” and in the spring I’ll fit some 245/45-18 AS tires to bring the speedo back into spec. The Blizzak‘s that came with the 18 inch spider spoke wheels are 225/40 which induces a speedometer error to the optimistic side at 3%. So if I drive 1000 miles they’ll be 30 extra miles on the odometer-no big deal.
now who do I ask to find out how many e61’s came in Barbera Red like mine?
