Default MAX wheel/tire combo for 535i

Hi all.

Wondering if there’s a sticky for the e60 max wheel size? My wife wants to buy me new rims for our 33rd wedding anniversary, that’s how cool she is and one of the reasons why I’m still with her after all these years! Lol

So right now I have style-135 OEM sport wheels with spacers. When I tried to do the math, I came up with needing wheels with “zero” offset. Well, since that’s almost impossible to find, I’m pretty sure I’m doing the computations wrong!

Any words of advice? I am actively searching for a place with the tools to do a hands-on wheel fitment analysis but so far I haven’t been able to find one locally.

Thanks,
// Radar //

Rwd or awd? It makes a difference.

Plus tire size? do you have a need or an idea size you're planning to run? square or staggered?

Are you lowered? have you added any more camber (neg)

Here are several places where you can start:

I want to go big. I’m buying 19” rims, want widest tires possible in back, wide tires in front. It is lowered, ST coilovers; I have not invested in adjustable hats (camber), but that may be down the road just a little. Rear wheel drive 535i.

Thanks, yes, I have looked at all of those sites in the past.

The E60 has been around for 17 years... thousands have replaced/upgraded their wheels, im sure. There should be some info from experience out there.
