Thanks for the response and good luck with whatever mod you have your sights set on.

I found an Apex wheel (EC-7) that comes in a 18 x 8.5 et 35 and 18 x 10 et 43 which look interesting as a staggered set up

http://www.apexraceparts.com/apex-products/EC-7-Wheels/19x8-5-ET35-APEX-EC-7-Wheel.html#.VaW1RZm9LCQ

http://www.apexraceparts.com/apex-products/EC-7-Wheels/18x10-ET43-APEX-EC-7-Wheel.html#.VaXET5m9LCQ

Lots of forum reading and wheel calculators make me think the above sizes should fit. Or, I could be completely off.

I was considering the Apex also. The warranty was a little better on the Beyern. Apex looks really sharp though!

One piece of advice is to get 19". 18s looks a bit small. If I had to buy wheels again I'd g with 20"

Thanks BMWmonkey. I found the following sizes in the Apex rim I like:

19x9.5 et 43 (or et 33 which I think is too aggressive for a 10" but would it fit with 9.5? )

19x8.5 et 35

I would look at tire sizes:

235/35/19 and 285/30/19

I'd appreciate any feedback on fitment and hope I'm close!

Thanks

Guys, reviving an old thread. My 07 530xi wagon came with 18x8 ET 43 Style 123's and I'm thinking of going with Style 172 staggered setup (19x8.5 ET 18 and 19x9.5 ET 32). I absolutely love those wheels and wanted to know if there will be any fitment issues. I've done the math and looks like they should fit but wanted to know if anyone here had nay issues.

Thinking of going with the following tire size,
245/35/19
285/30/19

Would appreciate any feedback.

Thx
Dhar

According to this, you should be good to go.

I was mostly concerned to make sure the rolling circumferences matched. People put 20-inch rims on their E60's, so 19's should pose no problem.

Thanks for the input.

I'm mostly concerned about the front sticking out. It's an aggressive offset (ET 18) and I don't like wheels sticking out of the fenders and I don't like rolling or negative camber settings.

Looks like it's going to stick out 25 mm more than where it is now.

Hey did you ever get the 19s on? Thinking of running the same on my wagon.

Im currently running the 172s on my e61 with no spacers and no problem and the dont stick out they sit almost flush. I'm running a 275/30/19 on them and was thinking of going with the 285/30/19 also because of the overall rolling diameter. According to willtheyfit.com, the only changes are in the actual ride height which is 3mm, and the overall diameter which is 6mm. Other than that the should maintain the same clearance from the strut. So from the looks of it might be able to pull this off without a spacer, but I'm personally thinking of running 12mm spacers with the 285s just to make it a little more aggressive.
