Default Please help with correct tire pressure, Style 277 wheels

Hello, I’m new to this site.
I have a question that I’ve researched all over the internet and can’t find the answer, I was hoping someone here might be able to help me.

I recently purchased a 2008 BMW 535xi and the car was equipped with the 18 inch BBS sport wheels (style 124) so in the driver side door seal there is the tire pressure stated for the style 124 wheels.

The previous owner purchased a set of BMW style 277 wheels which is standard on 2009 and 2010 model year 5 series.

So I have the style 277 wheels on the car and I have the tires inflated to 31 psi for the front and 33 psi for the back, but I realized the door seal placard is for the style 124 wheels. So the tire pressure I have set I think is wrong.

My question is for someone that has a 2009 or 2010 BMW 5 series that was originally equipped with BMW style 277 wheels, what does your placard in the door sill say for tire pressure for front and rear wheels?

Greatly appreciate an answer.

Thank you

Pressure has absolutely nothing to do with the style of wheels.
The only thing you should be concerned with is the size of the tires; i.e. 18", 19", etc.
Next check your manual. A complete chart for various sizes is in it. I am surprised if 31PSI is listed on your door jamb. That is low by normal standards for these cars.

For the style 124 Sport wheels that came stock on the car the door seal placard says 31psi for the front tires and 33 psi for the rear tires.

Those came with 275/35 R18: For the rear two wheels
245/40R18: For the front two wheels

I am not using those wheels anymore, they are for sale. That is why I know the tire pressure is wrong.

I have the style 277 wheels on there now, which are equipped with:

225/45/R17 on all four wheels.

The manual says for 225/50/R17 that 32psi for the fronts and 36 psi for the rears....how should I adjust that pressure for the 45 sidewall instead of the 50 sidewall?
