OEM tires are the best tires ???

We changed out M5 non run flat tires with Pirelli vs. OEM Michelin non run flat tires and
530I non run flat tires with Yokohama 580 vs. OEM Continental tires.
Our experiences say that OEM tires grab road better in 100+mph and /or in wet road conditions.
*** We need your inputs/ experiences on tires. *** All our wheels/ suspensions are non-modified.

first i would put michelins on the front, then continentals on the rear. switch the left rear with the right front tire. right front tire goes to left front, then back to rear (right if possible). take left front tire (michelin?) move it to right front then back to left front. right front tire (continental) gets moved to left front or rear.
that's probably the best setup.

We have a M5 with stock tire is Michelin ... We changed out with after market tire is Pirelli.
We have other Bmw 530I with stock tire is Continental ... We changed out with after market tire is Yokohama.
*** We have had baaad experience with Michelin tires ... Even if they are free ... I will not drive/ ride on them.

The speed limit on some sections of the west Texas interstates is 80 mph.
Not sayin' that 100 mph on public roads is OK, just that it's probably not unheard of in Texas...
Our old Honda in the pic above was fitted with H-rated Michelin MXV4 tires that were expertly balanced on Hunter GSP9700 Road Force equipment. The car and tires were just fine at 80+ mph. But, sustaining such speeds was too demanding for me, so ~75 was the limit that day.
