Default 245/40/19 instead of 245/35/19 ?

So thinking if this will work or not...

I have some m167 reps on the car with exactly the same measurements as the M6 originals.

Front 19x8.5 ET 12
Rear 19x9.5 ET 17

Here are the wheels wearing the recommended 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 tyres. Car has factory OEM sports suspension.

Just wondering if anyone's tried 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 on the above ? Rears should be good to go but fronts already seem pretty close to the strut with the 245/35/19 !! Not sure if I've actually already been hearing some rub sounds when I've gone over a speed hump a little fast. Why that might happen even with the standard set up I don't know....has anyone else experienced this ?

Anyway, I wanted the M5 or M6 tyres - 255/40/19 and 285/35/19 but that's definitely going to rub on the front so I've dropped that though I'd like to get the 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 -- so any thoughts on this anyone ? Would be great to know if someone has had a try to see if this works, especially the 245/40/19 on the front.

I'm currently running OEM 166 wheels, tires sizes are 245/40zr/19 in the front and 285/35zr/19 in the rear. I'm also running a 12mm spacer in the rear. Rolled fenders with no rubbing whatsoever.

Hey thanks for reply. I think I'll give it a try with some used tyres to test fit and if all good then go for it with new tyres.

No problem but with your setup and stock suspension you should not have *any* rubbing issues.
