Hello guys. I have a 2009 528i Xdrive with the factory 17x8 ET 42. Currently running a 225/50R17 on all 4 corners. It is nearing time to replace them and I would like to do a small upgrade by going with a little wider tire and maintain the factory OD as close as possible. I have found that a 245/45R17 is where I want to be, but afraid they may rub on the front. Any of you guys tried this combo? Looking for advice. Thanks

 

They should fit. 245/40R18 was the optional size for your vehicle. You are putting 245/45 on a 17" which is within specs
