Question 19 Inch staggered: Which end counts?

I am considering Beyern Mesh 19's for my 2008 535i in a staggered set-up:
FRONT:
Wheel: 19x8.5 ET15
Tire: 245/35R19
Speedo error
: 0.4%

REAR:
Wheel: 19x9.5 ET15
Tire: 275/30R19
Speedo error
: 1.4%
Which end does the car use to compute speed?
I.e. which speedo error will I get?

the 9.5 reads speed.
if you like your rims in the back then run 265/35, 285/30 will protect more.
Keep rear sizes under 3%.
Also put your rear offset to 32,25,22...15 is really aggressive and will rub if you end up lowering. M5/6 are et19 I believe and flared fenders
A 275/30 is best for a 9 inch rim. Especially in the front

my 2 cents.

Thanks for your comments. OEM offset for the 535I (not M5) is ET20: if I understand your recommendation, rear fender will rub with wide wheels, low offset - correct? Is there a lot of backspace available? Beyern recomends the offets I listed.

Its not the width, they rub due to the fact they sit under the fender lip from the aggressive offset

They should have a mesh wheel in a et30...then from there you can add spacers if need be.

The Beyern wheels you like are replicas of the OEM's on my 1978 528. I thought they looked crude 35 yrs ago, time hasn't changed my view.
