Here's a closeup of the 19 x 10 rear rim. In person it looks much more concave than it does in this picture. This this is a 530xi and the staggered wheels do fit with no issues despite what the dealership tells you. The front offset is +40 and the rear offset is +38.

I have an 08' 535xi Touring as well (with stock 17"s) and all the wheel sellers are telling me not to get staggered or I could strain the AWD or even void my warranty...? I believe the OE 18" wheel option on this car is STAGGERED... Wierd! Also heard that it could confuse the AWD computer...??? They've been telling me I absolutely have to go with 19X8.5 ET40....

So ForbesZ you have no problems with tires rubbing front or back? Is the car lowered? Does it handle any differently? THAT THING LOOKS SWEET!!! Wonder how those Hyperblacks would look on Deepsea blue... certainly could take care of brake dust visibility...

I am currently torn between the VB-3's and Beyern Mesh.... albeit STAGGERED!

Thanks mucho!

I'm deciding between MMR GT1 and Platinum Apex HyperBlack. I looked at the Beyern Mesh but the GT1s definitely outclass them. The Beyern is a flat, squared off spoke that looks like cheaper mesh wheels but the MMR has more dimensions which show off better in the sun. I might end up with the Platinums though because my wife doesn't like black (I love it) on a silver wagon and polished silver doesn't have enough pop. The Platinums also have an optimal 40 offset and center cover that eliminates having to keep the lug nut bores clean

Hey Vipe,

Do you plan on lowering?? I am thinking about the H&R option, but its 1.4" lower, and I think I may have some issues with rubbing if I go with the rear 19X10 option with 285/30/19's (the closest match to maintain even tire diameter when matched with 245/35/19's in the front.)

I think I have settled on the VMR's though in Hyperblack. Perhaps a bit more stealthy IMO.

Will post pics when I finally get em...

Das ist Gut!!

FYI, I've got a US MY'08 535xi Touring with the 18" wheels, and they ARE NOT staggered. 245/40-18 all the way around.

Don't worry about a staggered setup as BMW has many AWD models from the factory these days with a staggered setup!

As long as your tire selection maintains a similar wheel diameter front/rear it's a non issue.

If you like the VB3's you could consider the SF71's by AluFelgen similar in design (CSL style) with a slightly more modern look imho.
Take a look (had already posted these in my other thread but...):

Those look Schweet!

I am going back and forth on choosing one of the (very limited) OE options or going with Reps due to varying quality... I really like the M5 wheels, but the reps just don't look the same as the real deal.
The CSL look has worn thin on me and I am now looking at a X3/5 wheel that might just work... Style 128 OE 19" for X3/5 with ET 46FR and ET51 RR.
I also like the Breyton Flame (made in Germany by BBS), but not sure if offset of ET30 will work all the way around...?

Any suggestions??
