Why is the M5 forum so popular with spammers?

Just a little curious why spammers are always targeting the M5 forum for their initial posts. Is it because they reason that the M5 owners are the most people prone to spending $$$ on anything on a whim? 
Or, that they're the least intelligent group of people on the board and would fall for anything?

I was wondering the same thing recently about the spammers...
Maybe they're just clueless and following some link from somewhere else or maybe they're trying to tell us something about the M5 owners!
