On behalf of E60.net, Mark and I would like to welcome two new (and the first!) moderators to the E60.net forums. The E60.net forums have grown a lot in the last three years, and it's hard for Mark and I to always keep track of everything that's going on. We also realize that we have many conscientious, courteous, and helpful members who have made great contributions over the years. But everything isn't perfect, and it is now time for us to get some assistance.

Without further ado, I'd like to announce our two new moderators, Rudy and Iceman. Rudy and Iceman are two of the most prolific contributors here, and have helped countless E60 owners and visitors on these forums. They also have conducted themselves professionally, and know the kind of environment we'd like these forums to be.

We see the purpose of moderators as follows:

- Provide helpful information to all users of the forums
- Keep the forums clear of spam, and advise the admins as necessary so users can be deleted/banned
- Calm down conflict that may occur in topics as best as possible, using closing topics, deleting posts, and so on, as an absolute last resort
- Monitor all forums and move topics to the appropriate forums (primarily only a concern for moving topics from the main forum to somewhere else)
- Keep track of abusive users or inappropriate activity and advise admins as necessary
- Ensure that the E60.net forums are not actively promoting any kind of illegal activity (using common sense)

I'm sure that others will join me in welcoming Rudy and Iceman, and I'm sure they'll do a great job. Right now, we're just starting out with two - but, as the forums continue to grow, we may need more. We've already got some prospects for the future.

Thank you all for making the E60.net forums the best E60 community, and one of the BMW forums on the web!

Regards,

Dave Schroeder (das)
Mark Skurzynski (Lomag)
E60.net

PS - Rudy and Iceman's names will now appear in bold green in the user list.

Txh das and Lomag for info. Cool congrats Iceman and Rudy (sexy Lady) so lets deduct Ice's post No's as a gift.

OK so seriously hope you guys will continue to help us and also we will have lots of fun. I will never forget that had more than 1000 posts and had to ask "how to fold down the seats" just 20 min ago when I had to take my wintertires for mounting, and Rudy replied in secs. so thx again, and Iceman you have to know personally.

can I give them a HELL YES!!! Rudy & Iceman with their crazie jokes! we couldn't have asked for better moderators, I can honestly say Iceman single handedly got me addicted to these forums. I fully concur with the "upgrade" in their positions.

Had you polled the E60 Forum community for nominations we most-likely would have selected Rudy and Iceman. Great choices Lomag & das. Thanks for saying 'yes' Rudy and Iceman.

I know they will help keep this virtual hang-out to be the best automotive forum around.

I haven't been here that long, but Rudy and Iceman are the obvious choices for Moderators even to me. Congratulations gentlemen. I'm "green" with envy.
