Happy belated birthday Mark. I didn't catch that birthday line in your post yesterday.
Hope the malicious board code didn't ruin the day too much...

Happy Birthday Lomag!!
Needless to say we all appreciate your efforts to keep the board up and running and the BEST place to get info on E60 in the WORLD. Over my 1.5 years of ownership, I have been able to INSTRUCT the SA at BMW how and what to fix on my car and even provide them the BMW service bulletin in many cases!!!
YOU ROCK! Have a drink on me and let me know where to send the check...
12V GUY
P.S. The static clings are great too. I get asked about them ALL the time....

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you for all the kind words!!
Yeah das left me a great birthday present yesterday, LOL LOL.
Hopefully we get some official resolution to this issue by Monday and we can have some smooth sailing again. But alas, as the board grows and grows, it becomes more of a target for trouble makers and spammers alike.
Well ... thanks again!!

Thanks again Lomag...
Speaking of spammers, I noticed a bunch of new members that are still in the "validating" state. Are you now requiring email validation of new user accounts? I think it's a good idea if that's what you're doing (it's been a while since I registered so I can't remember if that's something new or not.) If you look at the members that are still in a "validating" state, you can see by their user names that most of them are just spammers setting up accounts...
Again, nice work Lomag and das on keeping this place neat and tidy! It's amazing how much of a difference a little policing makes to help keep things orderly (as opposed to that board that helped us decide to make this one what it is today... )
Thanks!
