I don't know if this is related but my Safari browser routinely crashes when I load this site. It's been happening for a while; not every time, but often.

Same here! High risk -- sounds pretty scary.

Hi Folks,

Apparently there was some serious bug in the previous IPB version which allowed anyone to upload files to the server somehow so they modified the main index template to include some code which caused it to load another site with that java script type virus. IPB released an update for that just yesterday which I've applied now and cleaned up the mess which was left behind as well. If you notice anymore wierdness please let me know ASAP.

I hope it didn't cause any issues for anyone. Any anti-virus software should have immediately caught and stopped it. I believe there was about a 3 hour window where this malicious code was in the index page from around 10 PM EST Friday to 1 AM EST Saturday or so. I'm so sorry about that.

PS. In the future, if you notice major issues like this or any issues at all please, please, please send e-mail admin@e60.net directly in addition to posting a message here. I more often check my e-mail and can fix the problem faster when notified that way. I almost always check the forums however e-mail is more ideal. I'll never leave or turn off the computer before checking e-mails. I'd rather have 50 e-mails about the same problem rather than just one. Thanks Rudy.

My computer at home crashed and cannot reboot. It complains that hal.dll is missing. Right now, it's dead. I don't know what to do. Anyone have suggestion?

Thanks.
