Lomag,

Are you able to define what types of file extensions that can be uploaded to the site? If so, I thought it would be cool if you enabled the extension .kmz which is used by the Google Earth program as a "placemark" to a specific point on the earth. The files aren't big, they're just like shortcuts.

A Google Earth thread was started by Alex.br and he posted latitude and longitude coordinates to his house in Rio and it got me to thinking -- wouldn't it be fun if forum members could post links to places of interest around the world?

Personally, I wouldn't be linking directly to my house (even though you can see my white car in the driveway!) but I might post things like downtown Pittsburgh, my BMW dealership, etc.

It might be something to consider -- if it can't be done, I guess posting coordinates will work...

Try flying to 48?10'36.38"N, 11?33'34.79"E...............Once you get there zoom in close, tilt down and fly around a bit.

Here's a picture of the BMW four cylinder building and museum that I took from the top of the Olympic Tower. If you go to those coordinates again and go accross the street diagonally from the BMW building to the Olympic Park you can see the tower.
