Welcome, new owners! Hope y'all don't mess this place up - I think I speak for just about all of us when I say "we love this place".
That said, I'd like to thank Mark for building this site. God knows I've used and abused this site for a long time, and I hope that my contributions over this time made it at least somewhat bearable. Mark I wish you luck, love, health and fortune! Hope you won't be a stranger.
IB, I hope you guys will truly bring the site up to the next level. With mobile internet becoming a reality and forums getting all kinds of possible uses in connection with that, I, for one, am really excited to see what new features are coming.

My thanks too to Mark, Das, Rudy and Andre. You guys rock and you all made a fantastic contribution to making this place what it is.
I will say that one of the things I most enjoyed about E60.net and then 5Series.net was that it was a site for enthusiasts run and moderated by enthusiasts. While I fully understand the reasons for the transition, I do hope that under Internet Brands we can keep that sense of community.
Anyway - thanks again guys. I really appreciate everything you guys do.

The only thing that stays the same is that things change!
I'm looking forward to the evolution of the 5 Series Forum and extend my personal thank-you and ... JOB WELL DONE to the founders and early adopters who took this forum through the earliest days of its life to this new stage.

This is very interesting. The company I currently work for "incubated" Internet Brands (CarsDirect). I remember when those first 2 guys started. Don't know if they are still with IB though.

They started off as CarsDirect, then spun off and changed the name to Internet Brands but kept the CarsDirect name and site as part of IB's automotive division. The original 2 guys that started it left long ago though. I believe even before IB went public in 07. My company still has share in IB so their name still floats around the office every now and then.
