It appears to me (what do I know) that the E60 Discussion Forum has lately been inundated with items that are either production problems, tires and accidents. Could those items be better place in a new discussion group?

Don't split up the group.

I am having a ball reading all this stuff from the ValveTtronic discussion to the nitrogen tire stuff. I would hate to have to scrounge around to get all this knowledge and frivolity! I just took a puff of helium and I can't understand anything I am saying ... sounds like gurgling!

I wouldn't split the group. Nobody reads or responds to the sections that are split off.

I agree that there isn't a need for additional forums but I'll disagree that "nobody" reads or responds to the split off sections.

I think more and more people are discovering the "View New Posts" link at the top of each and every page. Using that link allows everyone to read every post that is new since they last visited -- regardless of what forum it's posted in. I must click that link a zillion times a day!

My advice to everyone who isn't using it is to give it a try and let it become your primary way of browsing the forums. It actually helps you save time and it helps make sure you don't miss anything of interest...

I've been using "View New Posts" from almost the begining of being on this forum and I'd recommend it too. It's fine when you're on daily, but if you're gone for a week or so, it's like getting 50-100+ e-mails when you return to the office. I still find it enjoyable to go through all the new posts.

+1. i find it way easier than going to every section one by one to read new posts. that "view new posts" helps a lot
