Thumbs down

Search is pretty much useless. Try searching for oem m5 wheels... LOL. I can understand trying to limit the load on the server searching for mundane words, but it's pretty much useless in this jargon filled subject without support for acronyms and even model names.

That helps with three letters but what about "M5" or "3G"? Is it really that much of a burden to allow small words/acronyms in the search engine?

The benefits would seem to offset the problems with people posting stupid things because they can't search.

Just add two asterisks at the end... 3G** or M5**.

Now tell Rudy you're sorry.

I think it's a limitation of the software, PhpBB ( or whatever it's called) that limits
it. Try googling using the word you're searching + e60 forums.

Correct. I don't think there's anything we can do about it...

Don't think M5, 3G, OEM ...would count in a game of scrabble. acronyms and abbreviations may not be consistent depending on the part of the globe you're in.

what exactly are you complaining about? When I type in "oem M5 wheels", or even "M5" I get a list of threads...so are you saying that when you type in just "M5" you get nothing?
