Thumbs up

I have always been able to find my posts by typing my username in the "Filter by memeber name" field of the Advanced Search page. This was very convinient because I was able to quickly check if there were any responses to my posts that I needed to respond to. However, since about a week ago a search using my username does not come up with any newer thread that I posted in. To clarify, if there is a thread that was started more than a week ago (and I had posted in it) it still works fine and shows up in the search. However, the threads that were started within the last week or so do not come up in the search for my username. For example, there is a recent thread on the new Audi A5 that I have posted in. If I do a search for threads under my username this thread does not come up, yet it still exists and I can find it if I just look for it in the "View New Posts" section. Does anybody know why this is happening?

I don't know what happened, but you can find your posts if you click on your user name and then "find members posts", or when you go to your profile by clicking on your user name, and you see your topics in the middle and you can select posts what brings up your posts.

Hmm, I don't notice any problem. I did a quick search under advanced typing your username and clicking on match exactly and found two posts from today, two frm March 1st, one on Feb 27th, etc.. all listed as expected. I'm not sure(??)

Mark, it seems like my newer posts from yesterday DO show up in an Advanced search under my username, and so do much older posts. However, there are many posts from the last month or so that do not show up. The following threads and many more do not show up when I do an Advanced Search under my username, however, they do show up using the method that Iceman suggested. Mark, since you said that you can see my posts when you do a search under my name, can you check if you can see any of the following threads?:

"Warning Message for Active Steering or Suspension Fluid Leakage"
"2008 E60 5 Series US Pricing Announced"
"Any pics of an LCI with LEDS on?"
"You have to give it to Audi!"
"Someone must have jacked my signature from here"
"SMG Clutch Overheating"
"Poll: SOCAL MEET POLL!!!!"
"Guess the date!"
"Russian Volga/M6"
"question: is there room for spacers on style 172 sport wheels?"
"Looks Interesting"
"How to turn on angel eyes without turning on parking lights"
"M5 hi-def video on track, following another M5"
"What no more SMG???"
"New C-class revealed"
"F/S OEM Trunk Lid Finisher Euro"

and many more...

Hmmm... I honnestly have no clue, that is very strange. I thought it might be due to the mysql table indexes but I rebuilt everything and it's still the same. I'm stumped.

It's even more interesting now because if I do a search under my username in the Advanced search section then I only get really old threads and all new threads that I am the original poster for. Then if I use my username in the quick search (the small drop down box) then I see many of the newer threads that I posted in, however, that is still not a complete list of my posts. It seems like the only thing that shows a complete list of my posts now is using the menthod that Iceman suggested.
