Thumbs down

Well, I for one seriously will get in trouble if I click on something that is... less than professional on a government computer. I think, if it is possible, that the "Explicit" or borderline threads be marked with a Red Banner in the place of the standard Blue and a NSFW or Explicit or R written on the banner of the thread. That would be a clear warning for us if the Poster has forgotten to warn or otherwise cannot do so (if that is an escuse).

I love this site and honestly, I do not want to be afraid/worried that the content I am looking at or am about to, will put me in the office of the Commander explaining to him and my wife why I am looking up, for example, raunchy photo's of a woman. I'd rather not be in that position with my Unit, or my Wife.

Love you guy's

Tonymac

I myself don't think we should have any of those pics/links on this site.

I don't see any relevance in posting them.

Everybody that wants to see such pics can easily find millions of such pics on the web by a quick search.

And sometimes those pics take you to "unsafe" servers too...

I really would like to ask everyone on this site to NOT post such stuff.
I know there are many members here who like it.
But please allways remember that this is a car forum...

The high value of this forum is the maturity of the posts made by our members that we keep!

So, PLEASE, no such posts.
If you really desperately need to post such pics or links: MARK the thread ***NSFW*** or otherwise, so it is very clear what you'd expect when you open the thread!

Thank you very much in advance!

On a brighter note, I do like the fact that we can talk about more than just cars. I think it is definitely one of the things that makes this forum a step ahead of the other forums. The character and caliber of member's here truly make this place magnetic.

Love you all

But opening threads need to be safe wherever you are... at work, at home... or in sight of your Commander...

Agreed. It's no different in the private sector. At my firm, viewing porno (which a few of the pictures El Immigrante posted headed in that direction) is grounds for termination.

I just posted the rating system in a new thread, so people who don't know what PG13 means can learn about it.

tonymac & Iceman, I agree with you 100% and I really appreciate your honesty here.

I also need to be honest and say that I am not comfortable viewing these pictures. On the other hand, I find myself on this site regularly and have really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know all the members a little more personally through non-E60 related comments and humor. I truly believe this forum is light years ahead of others, and that's because of the maturity, sincerity and generosity of the members. With exception to "chrome", the members have always been a source of encouragement and display genuine interest in our projects! I really enjoy being a member here!

If we could use "NSFW" on the title as a warning on all topics with this type of contact, I would appreciate that. That would allow members to use their own judgment, if they wish to view or not.
