So - it would appear that the admins in their infinite wisdom - have decided to use abbreviated versions of FU posts rather than the dialog boxes that we used to have before.
I, for one, hate it.. P
Im not sure what it's purpose is and what it's designed to serve [yes, you have all the threads on one page but you have to click on each response to see them so how does it matter if you scroll down vs click to open up individual responses???]
It seemed more intuitive and user friendly when you could scroll down, view user responses, and follow a conversation - the GMail concept. This new way just seems to take that away from a thread....
And it's not that I don't like change....but change that's effective and positive, that I can dig...this just seems...more work and less gain to the users.
Who wants to weigh in??????

Did you recently do a google search of E60.net from the upper right hand corner. The outline of the forum seems to default to linear mode after using this function.

I've had this problem too and how I fixed it (and not knowing any better) was to delete the e60....txt cookie from the Cookies folder in your profie located in the "Documents and Settings" folder.

Hey hey hey - easy with the "Moron" calls!
The reason it was baffling was because there was
(A) No warning or post that there was going to be a change
( No change made by me, the user
? No explanation as to how to go back to the old way
SO...to clarify -- the Options menu does let you go back to the old standard method. Please note those of you who are having this issue will need to change this setting. Deleting cookie files, etc may help but there is a much easier fix in this regard.
Also - once you change it - it recognizes this view as your default so you don't have to keep tweaking it. Glad to hear that there were others out there who had similar issues...... Hopefully, this will help those guys out....
