guarantee that the owners will not be able to keep a live archive of all information, simply because people believe that a half-screen photo of their car is REQUIRED for every single post on every single topic
Although this thread had a bit of a hard start I find the suggestions made very usefull and I hope we can help the admins decide what is good for this board or not by talking about it.
Just to jump in here - As far as I know you can't add a picture to you signature unless you host it yourself. No board resources required.
My 2 euro cents on the larger issue....
This board is a community, a group, a family if you will and if my grandma wants to show me the same pictures or tell me the same stories as she did last time I visited I will be happy to listen and look. ....and it's not as boring as Uncle June's hemorrhoids (thankfully no pictures of that one)

If you open "My Controls", then "Board Settings", there are switches available to block signatures, avatars, simlies, pics and set a bunch of other stuff.

Sorry, but it isn't.
There are some stupid signatures floating around at the moment. And yes, I want to keep the signature on - the text spec. makes answering questions easier.
One guy - beewang I think, has all sorts of crap in it - it takes up half the page on my 1024x768 laptop.
I'd ask members to please show some consideration with their sigs. Thanks.
