During the day. all posts are shown in the order placed. In the evening, all I see are links which must be opened to see the post. Is it possible to keep the day time format 24/7?

When you have opened a post, there is an OPTIONS tab on the same level as the title of the post. Click on this and under Display mode, choose "standard". That should sort out your format problems.

I'm not a mod, but don't fret..its just a setting on the right hand side of your screen. Click on options > display mode > standard...and voila it should solve the prob. See attached screen grab.
