Subscriptions expire after a certain amount of time if the thread has had no activity, I think that's a week time schedule. Or are all of them dissapearing?

It is a global option so I don't want to change it. But, if a thread has had no activity for a week it probably won't have anything else added to it afterwards.

Well that is true however I saved quite a few pages for references. Is there another way to do that besides using my browser favorites? I would think most people would rather control which subscriptions get deleted or stay on there. Again that's just my opinion.

Absolutely correct! I think the board had this enabled because lots of members subscribe to topics unknowingly then they receive lots of emails from the board and then I receive complaint emails that the board is flooding their mail box. IMO this should be a user configurable setting with the default to be ON after a certain period but allowing users to change it to whatever value they like. Unfortunately, I don't see any such option in the users control panel. The global setting on the board was set to auto-delete inactive subscriptions after 5 days. I've gone ahead and set this to 0 effectively disabling the auto-deletion of subscriptions. Let me know if that works!

I agree that subscriptions should be controlled by the end-user, not by the board. Thanks Lomag! ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
joebagg, if you have old email notifications of your prior subscriptions, you may be able to find them using whatever links they contain...
