wow!! so how long were we down? i tried logging in for the first few minutes when the upgrade happened and couldn't get in so i just gave up. for a second there i thought i forgot my password.lol i haven't had the chance to navigate through the site yet so the "user friendliness" remains to be seen. i have no doubt that those whom frequent this site as often as most do will have no probs adjusting to this change. all the more reason to visit here daily! good job to our mods for looking out for this community

The £ (GBP) sign in my old posts seem to have been replaced with some special char. But on new posts the £ seems to work OK.

To be honest guys...
at first I really was shocked and disliked the new look, allthough I had already seen it over at the IPB site.
But after beeing here five minutes now I start liking it.
And to all that still dislike it... As Rudy mentioned earlier, the spam bots were able to get through. Over the last weeks we checked every single new member that registered... and mostly came up with three or four spam bot accounts per day... which we banned before they could post their crap here. But with knowing that... we HAD to upgrade the forum.
