Ok... now i been here quite a while...

but i wish we could go back to e60forum instead of 5 series.... most of members are e60 or e63 owners.... not older 5 series...

we have more knowledge on e60 than other bmw.... i just wish we can just go back and be ourselves as e60 forums...

Oh also i wish we can search with 3 characters... i have hard time looking for something if it is less than minimum characters... for example i was looking for vmr but couldnt find it so i had to put differnet keyword...

also in classified section, i wish we can divide to sub catagories..

for example

Private member classified
-Wheels/Tires
-Body parts
-interior parts
-lights
-engine parts
-exhaust
-suspension

if we do that it will be so much better to post stuff and find what members need easily...

We're still e60.net.
Type it in your browser, it works.

Searching for VMR works this way: VMR*

On the classifieds...
We have made very clear over the past that we are a car forum for enthusiasts, not a market place.
There are other places on the web, such as ebay or craigslist, when it comes to selling stuff.
IMHO we allready have too many classifieds forums, and some allready complained about those.
From all the discussions we had in public and among us mods and admins I don't see that happening in the near future.

E60 Forums was renamed to 5 Series not so much for the older 5 series models but for the upcoming new F10 5 series model so we can keep the community together. Searching for 3 letter words works normally without the asterisk as I finally was able to fix that in the database about 3 weeks ago before I left on my trip to Poland. About the classifieds I do like the idea of having it more organized and we might do that but I don't make any promises for it to happen anytime soon. The first reorganization we have to do in the classifieds is to splitup the different 5 series models which will happen sometime after the F10 is officially released.
