Seems like a lot of people ask questions about financing/leasing. They're looking for current deals etc. From front I've seen these threads quickly get lost in the shuffle. How about we break them out in a seperate forum so everybody can add thier 2-cents. Granted things will be different from country to country but that wouldn't be that big of a problem

I think we have enough forums.
nd there are not as many threads about financing/leasing as there are on Bluetooth, but nobody would ever ask for a forum on Bluetooth...
If we satrt creating forums for everything that has more than ten threads we will have <100 forums in a couple weeks.
I think our forum is good the way it is!

I think there would be great value in an area where people could go and quickly get the latest factory incentives, money factors etc... / Not for me I have all the info already (so my suggestion really was for the greater good of the e60.net community)...but it just seems that there are quite a few people who are not up to speed on this stuff and are subsequently getting taken advantage of by their dealers / But hey not trying to convince you...you make a valid point as well / I've just thrown up my trial balloon...we'll see

I think the dealer&service forum could be modified to include lease information, finance, etc... much like I modified the parts forum to include mods and stuff.

Whatcha think?

I've modifed the dealer forum description to mention including finance and lease questions there and moved in a bunch of new posts.

I'd like to rename that forum to include the new topics in the title but I can't think of a good name to give it. Basically that subforum was started to include threads about peoples dealership experiences when buying their car and peoples service experiences. Now we're adding leasing, financing, etc.. to it which is related, but what to rename the subforum to?

Maybe:

Dealer, Service and Purchasing Forum
Dealer Comments, Service and Purchasing Forum
Dealer Sales, Service and Purchasing Forum
Dealer & Service Comments and Purchasing Forum

I guess the first one, shortest one, is best. My brain hurts!

Yep. Purchasing was the key word I wanted to put in the title. Looks good now.
