This can get in the way when you are doing a DIY too where the comments can get quite long and then a few days later you realise a better way of doing things or new parts that can be used. Now you can't edit the actual DIY article anymore but instead the changes may be a few pages away caught amongst many other comments.

I agree that the edit window should close after a reasonable time. To me, Phil's many posts where he constantly changes the first post (and/or subject) doesn't work well because the replies in the middle don't always make sense. hey this is snkpkp, i cant seem to get my reset password work ...i forgot my password and then tried the reset and when i paste the new password it says not valid and then locks my account..... so i HAD to get another account...what do i do?
