Just for fun, I thought it would be interesting to see who can pick the correct date when the forum will have it's 10,000th member join...
My guess is that we'll hit it on Sunday, February 11th...

Yep, it'll be around Saturday into Sunday. We're averaging about 20 new accounts per day. How many of those are actually active? Who knows!
But for those curious since it comes up every now and then here's a few stats: Out of nearly 10,000 members we have 4,860 members with 0 posts. From this though there are probably many lurkers I would think. But how many? Going further, there's been 2,611 "active" members since Jan 1, 2007. Active means that the member has logged in atleast once between Jan 1st 2007 and now.
So I can safely say about 25% of our user base is truely active. Now I wonder how that compares to other forums?
