I just noticed that my "Friends" list has grown to include people I never added as friends. I suspect this issue happened after the minor upgrade from a few days ago but can't say for sure.

I'm talking specifically about the "My Friends" listing you get to by clicking on "Manage Friends" in the drop down box in the top-left corner of any page. Does anyone else have some newfound friends?

 

looks like the list has been combined to include friends you've add'd and members that have add'd you.....

 

What is the purpose of the "friends list" anyway? I haven't seen a use or it yet. Is there something your friends can see that others can't?

 

That's what I thought too -- I'm not sure that's what the programmers intended to do though...

Not sure there's much more to it than quicker access to PM, etc. The software keeps adding more and more "social networking" features that, if you ask me, are completely useless...

haha, it's probably coming in the next version! "Like" - ing threads, etc.. seeing which threads are liked the most as a judge of popularity or something..
