Forum Response Time

Hey Everyone,
You guys should now be seeing a very noticable improvement in the forums speed from now on. Many of you have probably noticed that during random times the response time would slow down and lag sometimes -- no one's complained though.
Basically the server hosting these forums is also a busy e-mail server with heavy spam and anti-virus filtering for all messages it processes. With our prior setup all emails would be spam and anti-virus scanned, even if the recipient didnt exist. This obviously caused excess load and slowed down everything running on the server during spikes in email traffic.
With the new setup, if the user doesn't exist, the email is simply dropped right away. Emails are scanned for only existing users -- logically -- the way it should have been from the get-go.
Well, in any event, not that anyone really cares about the internals -- you should just notice the forums having much better response time without any lag or random hiccups. I admit it annoying me personally sometimes which is why I set out for a solution.
Enjoy and keep spreading the word!

I did notice slow response times here and there. But it could have been a number of things, including my broadband provider.
Thanks for making the improvement, though.

That's normal when you are used to work with Microsoft products, so I thought it's just another MS thingie. I don't comlain when my computer needs a reboot either...
