My Ride: 2005 545i SMG. Titanium Grey with Grey interior and Anthracite wood.
I tried to use the FAQ forum to post questions relating to issues already posed in the FAQ forum. Since I posted the question, no one has responded. Just a thought, if no one is answering questions, what good in the FAQ forum. I noticed another user posted a question in the main forum and stated the same thing.
Can some one comment on this? I have found my self not going to FAQ as much as I should be since no one is responding.

i think the purpose for the faq forum is to let people look through there and look for answers before posting any questions. same as a lot of other websites. faq is for people who have similar problems w/others and since those questions are frequently asked, that's why they set up a "faq" forum and you can easily find the answers from there. if you can't find your answer, you can post your question in the main forum. i hope i'm getting this straighten out .

It seams like it is more an Answer Forum than a Question forum. That makes sence. I was using it as a question answer forum.
Thanks

The "alcoholic" is correct. Usually, FAQ's are read-only but Lomag set it up so that we could elaborate on the answers if we wanted to. He actually has the read-only FAQ on the main site with links to the forum section in order to see any additional information posted.
You'll notice that in most cases, the replies to the FAQ's are written with a more generic, impersonal nature. They're intended to be answers or additional information for newbies, etc.
I agree that if you have questions that aren't in the FAQ, you should post them in the other forums. Keep the FAQ as an answer knowledge base and keep updating it as needed.

I do remember that it's next to impossible to track your car using this alternate carrier. That's pretty much why the FAQ only discusses tracking on WW lines.
Since you can't track it -- I'll see if I can help.....It's getting closer!!

I may have some email contacts on K-Line. They were helpful in keeping me posted when the ship would arrive in Charleston. I could do an email search if it would help. I may have posted in this forum, too.

Yep, FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions and should not really be a board that is posted to. It wouldn't really be a frequently asked question if it is somthing that is posted for the first time. I would not post a question there.
