I told my wife the car was her silver anniversary gift.
Hence, the silver color.
It worked
She loves BMW's anyway so it wasn't hard to get her on board.
She's not happy about all the problems we've had though.

Wasn't it her idea to get the car in the first place.? Do we really own our car?

Here is the database I put together on Yahoo Groups. I went through some threads and added people who registered their location as in California.

IMHO a regional forum has plus and minus
On one hand it would be neat to communicate with folks in your region
But at the risk of possibly losing vital information that is currently centrally located on E60.net Please correct me if I'm wrong :'(

Maybe the solution is setting up member "groups" which all the member's of a group could be e-mailed or PM'ed if information pertaining to a group question is necessary. I agree with not starting another forum specificially for groups. I just want to make it easier for people who don't watch the board as much as we do to make sure they are aware of regional events.

A regional group would only be to communicate about local events. Not post general information about the E60.
Singapore and Hong Kong already started their group. I guess we could start a Southern California thread a let it go at that.
