My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
Might it be time to create a country specific discussion forum? If all the different countries' members continue starting their own sub-forums, the entire front page of the E60 discussion forum will be populated by the various sub-forums.

I agreed and let them started their UK thread, because there is a big number of UK members and their cars are different in options, naming, and, of course, the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

I think its a cool idea to just a have a "Sub-Forum Thread" rather than area specific rooms.
With the majority of the members being based in the US and having LHD cars, sourcing parts etc for and from the UK can get quiet difficult, so it's nice to have local members to hand to ask. The same goes for other countries too I guess.
But I dont think the forum should be split by Country, it's nice to see everyone together in one place

My worry is that if people start sub-forums for every country we draw from, it may just cause that all the subforums will be grouped together on the first page.

don't agree, let's make this forum a "one big happy family".
