UTC -5 = EST
UTC -4 = EDT
Therefore, for the sake of global accuracy, which is what I think you're looking for, we need to either say "EDT" or "UTC -4"

First is consistency for technical support and product feature rollouts. With few exceptions (5Series being one) Internet Brands automotive communities are on VBulletin. That's really unfortunate because I thought this site had a very professional hip look and feel . Both Bimmerforums and Bimmerfest use vBulletin, and although the platform is not bad, it is widely used and therefore 5Series will end up looking like everyone else (unless there's some cool skins you have available to "mod" the site, lol!)
