But while on topic... since we are in the www and have users all over the world it would be correct to say: UTC ?05:00.

Daylight savings time IS in effect...until later in October...

Yes, you're right... but, because of the internationality of the forum it should be UTC -5...

I agree about the international nature of the forum so that's why I'm being extra anal again...

Here we go:
UTC -5 = EST
UTC -4 = EDT

Therefore, for the sake of global accuracy, which is what I think you're looking for, we need to either say "EDT" or "UTC -4"

Hi,

First is consistency for technical support and product feature rollouts. With few exceptions (5Series being one) Internet Brands automotive communities are on VBulletin. The conversion will also allow additonal new features that are not available in IPB and once the conversion is completed a list of new features and how to use them will be posted. Thanks!

That's really unfortunate because I thought this site had a very professional hip look and feel . Both Bimmerforums and Bimmerfest use vBulletin, and although the platform is not bad, it is widely used and therefore 5Series will end up looking like everyone else (unless there's some cool skins you have available to "mod" the site, lol!)

Take a look at some of the other automotive sites that Internet Brands operates:
http://www.internetbrands.com/our-brands/automotive/

The two you mentioned are not under their control...
